The MDC Studio Established in Baltimore
The Maryland Development Center Partnership is pleased to announce the formation of the MDC Studio - Baltimore. The Studio is the first of several planned by the Partnership. MDC Studio - Baltimore will focus on medical technology, taking over the existing portfolio of MDC client companies.
MDC Studio - Baltimore will provide engineering, business development, mentoring, and back office services to the portfolio companies. It is available for investment by those interested in an early look at MDC client companies.
Gil Blankenship, MDC's Founder, is serving as CEO of the Studio. MDC Partners Stephen Restaino and Jonathan Pearl are helping with management of the Studio. The Studio is currently working with 12 companies and 15 inventors.
"The Studio provides new flexibility for MDC to support entrepreneurs in their work to establish and develop their companies. We look forward to working with MDC's current companies and to engaging new entrepreneurs in the MDC program," said Gil Blankenship CEO of MDC.
